Stuart has been active in the design field for 20 years—for the past 12 as co-founder of RED Partners, where he currently acts as design director on a range of projects, from campaigns to branded events. His approach is to always meet client business goals with smart, elegant, and clear visual solutions.
Before starting RED Partners, Stuart earned an M.F.A. in design from the School of Visual Arts. He previously worked as a designer for NYC2012: New York’s Olympic bid, Russell Design Associates, a New York firm specializing in branding and environmental graphics, and Modem Media San Francisco, a digital advertising agency. Stuart is also a design educator with a passion for typography, which he taught for several years at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Living abroad, and traveling extensively, Stuart has gained a special view of visual cultures around the world that serve as ongoing reference for his work. He documents his surroundings obsessively with his camera, pen and sketchpad.
