AIGA Atlanta 2018 Poster Show branding

We were thrilled when AIGA Atlanta asked us to do the branding for the 2018 Poster Show, one of the chapters most popular events and fundrasiers. The theme was “Destination Unknown”, and designers were challenged with the question “If you could go anywhere, where would it be?”. A call for entries went out to the community, 110 posters were designed and submitted, and the selection committee got to work choosing their favorites for a one night exhibition at Ponce City Market.

We focused the branding for Destination Unknown on the excitement and anticipation of getting ready for a big trip and decided a paper airplane best represented the feeling of taking off and exploring lands unknown or imagined.

For the event, we created a series of foldable posters. Each included fold lines and instructions on how to fold a different airplanes.

All posters chosen for the show were for sale at the event. All funds raised through poster sales went back to the chapter to offset costs for planning future events.

As a give-away, we created a booklet showing all posters to celebrate the generosity and talent of our community.
